Becker Week Zero 2026
A lowkey scrimmage that will concentrate more on robot play and refinement than a team atmosphere. Teams will be limited to the number of members able to attend due to the size of the event. We are allowing only 16 teams to this event.

Who: Any FRC team interested.
What: A practice FIRST Robotics Competition based on the 2026 FRC game Rebuilt.
When: Saturday, February 21st, 2026 (and optionally Sunday, February 22nd)
Where: The BRIC - 13500 3rd Street, Becker, MN 55308
Why: To provide practice and tune your robot on a field as close to the official field as possible.
Bonus: Registered teams can also leave their robot in their pit overnight and use the field for informal practice on Sunday, 1:00 - 5:00pm. Unlimited practice matches on Sunday will be on a first-come-first-served basis and will continue to be run by the Freezy-Arena Field Management System (FMS).
This is a SCRIMMAGE not an Off-season event

Be Courteous. Be Gracious, Be Professional. Be FIRST.
Allow other teams to play their game. Do not play defense unless you have had a conversation with the other teams on the field. Talk with the teams (both alliances) in the queue line so that there is an understanding of expectations for each team. Some may just want to run autos and then move off to the side.

Parking
BUSES: Park in the Lot on otherside of the blue fence (Labeled on map).
Everyone else: You can park in any of the available lots.

9:00 AM – Field Calibrations
9:30 AM - Open Field
12 Noon – Lunch
1:00 PM – Climb/Barge Practice
1:30 PM – Field Resumes
3:45 PM – Field Closes
Lunch and Concessions
We will be offering a lunch deal of pizza, chips, water, etc for teams.
There will be concessions going for most of the day.
There will be breakfast items available for purchase.
Load out
Your team can load out when you would like.
Use the Door 1 Entrance just like load in
PITS
The pit area will be tight. 8’x8’
Power will be at each area, but please note that we will be sharing circuits.
The expectation is that you are using the electrical service to charge batteries
The Field
The Field elements are made as close to FIRST spec as possible, Please be mindful it may have some inaccuracies
If we need to stop the matches to rebuild field elements, we will be running fewer matches. Take it easy on the field please.
We will have a field reset crew throughout the day.
Please bring your team's game pieces labeled with team numbers.
Radio/Field Connection
The Becker Week Zeros will allow direct connect at home config for practice time.
We will be attempting to use Freezy Arena for the FMS
Machine Shop/Workshop
Workshop will be available throughout the day.
Go to FRC4607’s pit if you need something worked on.
TEAMS Competing 2/21 and 2/22 are welcome to leave their pit/robot set up over night.
